The 3 pillar symbols
Facing the sealed door: left = Y, middle = C, right = upward arrow. Rotate each disk until its required mark is displayed at the top.
This is the first circular-room door puzzle in Chapter 4, “From Hell It Rose.” The later Minotaur statue puzzle is a separate room.
Open the door
- Enter the circular room after the preceding fight and interact with the gilded socket in the centre.
- When the 3 pillars rise, use the sphere's Light Reveal ability to expose the wall clues.
- Follow each blue line from a wall symbol to its pillar.
- Set Y on the left, C in the middle, and the upward arrow on the right, with your viewpoint facing the sealed door.
- Check that each selected symbol sits in the upper display, then wait for the door to open.
If the door stays closed
Recheck your viewpoint before swapping the outer pillars: left and right here are defined while facing the door. Use the revealed blue lines to match the clues if a symbol's shape looks different from its nickname.
Y, C, and arrow are shape descriptions, not an official alphabet. GameRant's walkthrough also notes a short delay after the correct setting; wait for the mechanism and the characters' response before turning another disk.
