Puzzle Solutions by Location

Find your room by its landmarks: mirror doors, symbol platforms, statue gems, the Minotaur, and later beam-and-lens routes.

Choose your puzzle

Choose from 11 location-based guides, including the 2 adjacent Chapter 3 light rooms. Below are 4 short Chapter 4 answers: the mirror door, floor maze, spike corridor, and Leni light path. Choose the landmark and objective that match your screen; this is not a complete walkthrough of every puzzle in the game.

Match the room before following a solution

The church roof uses a mirror to signal distant lights. Chapter 3 first uses a watchtower viewpoint to locate a trapdoor, then later has a mirror-door room followed by a platform room with Leni holding a broken mirror. The Chapter 4 door uses rotating symbol disks. The Minotaur room uses journal pairs and hand-ring clues. Chapter 5 has separate routes for the symbol platforms, statue-gem rooms, and central pillar. Choose by landmark rather than applying one room’s beam settings to another. The Black Temple chamber raises platforms inside a hole; its earlier 4-skull gate is a different task. Chapter 10 combines ring symbols and colored receivers, while Chapter 11 is a longer route through several lens controls.

Several rooms involve light or mirrors, so a generic “mirror puzzle” label is not enough to identify the answer. Use the room landmark above, and check the chapter list if you need story-order context.

Chapter 4 mirror door: route the light through 4 mirrors

This room comes after the 3-pillar symbol door and before the floor maze. Send the beam in a zigzag through all 4 mirrors, then onto the exit door.

  1. Climb the entrance stairs and step on the pressure plate to admit sunlight. Let Leni take your place on the plate.
  2. Start at the mirror receiving sunlight. Aim it at the mirror across the room.
  3. At that second mirror, aim diagonally across to the next mirror, avoiding the hanging barrier.
  4. Aim the third mirror across to the fourth, then aim the fourth at the door. The connected beam opens it.

Beam stops early? Follow it from the sunlit mirror and correct the first broken link. A hanging barrier blocks the tempting direct route; the diagonal middle leg goes around it. See SuperSoluce puzzle 2, images 13–18 for the camera views of each connection.

Chapter 4 floor maze: which symbols open the door?

This is the room with a floor labyrinth and 2 rotating pedestals, separate from the earlier 3-pillar sealed door.

  • Left pedestal: select the insect-shaped mark — an oval with short strokes projecting from its sides.
  • Right pedestal: select the cross with 2 horizontal bars across a vertical stem. Do not look for a plain letter I or T.

Use the sphere's revealing light to expose the floor paths. Trace the path from each pedestal to its wall symbol, insert the sphere into that pedestal, and rotate the matching mark into the top selection slot. Once both match, the door opens.

Door still closed? Compare the actual shapes with the revealed wall markings and check that each is in the selected top slot. Letter nicknames in written guides are only approximations of these glyphs.

This answer was checked against SuperSoluce's Chapter IV puzzle 3 and images 19–25 on September 5, 2026. Its left-dial, right-wall, and right-dial screenshots establish the shape correspondence. This is a source-based solution, not a claim of our own game testing.

Chapter 4 spike corridor: safe tiles and the final socket

After the floor maze, use the wall markings to identify safe floor tiles. Directions below face forward from each section's entrance.

  1. Stand on the metal plate in the sunlight and use the sphere's revealing light on the walls and floor.
  2. Cross the first section straight along its left lane.
  3. In the next section, enter on the rightmost tile marked like a balance scale. Move forward onto the cross, step left onto the square-like mark with 3 strokes, then continue straight to the far side.
  4. At the final wall sockets, reveal the markings and insert the sphere into the balance-scale socket on the left wall. Its crossbar has 2 hanging triangles. The matching mechanism lets you leave the corridor.

Unsure which mark matches? Compare the revealed wall and floor shapes before stepping; symbol nicknames are only visual shorthand. SuperSoluce puzzle 4, images 26–36 shows the route and the final scale-shaped socket.

Chapter 4 Leni light path: cross the traps and open her route

In the next, wider trap room, boost Leni to the mirror, reveal your path, then break the far-side barricade so she can rejoin you.

  1. Use the boost point beside the raised mirror platform to help Leni reach its controls.
  2. Return to the start of the trapped floor. Use the sphere in the reflected light to reveal the safe route.
  3. Look ahead before each obstruction blocks the light, remembering the next few safe tiles and turns. Move slowly along that route until the light reaches you again.
  4. Reach the far side and break the wooden barricade beside Leni's platform to let her through. Continue toward the Minotaur room.

The path disappears? Memorize the next few tiles while they are visible, then check the route again when you reach the light. SuperSoluce puzzle 5, images 37–44 shows the boost, revealed line, and barricade.

Coverage and sources

The 4 short Chapter 4 answers above are source-based and were reviewed on September 5, 2026. SuperSoluce / Yotaku's August 28 guide provides the illustrated sequence; the mirror and trap descriptions were also compared with our existing GameRant Chapter 4 source notes. We have not tested these routes in the game.

Each linked guide includes its own source links, review date, and limitations. Chapter 3 covers the watchtower and the 2 late light rooms; the Chapter 5 guides cover the first, second, and third symbol branches, not every chapter activity. Chapter 11 stops before the mines and later boss encounter. This directory does not add unverified solutions for other rooms.
