Why some sources say 13
The strongest explanation is inclusion versus exclusion of the epilogue. A playtime guide used 13 when discussing the main story, while fuller chapter and trophy guides counted the epilogue as number 14. The research found no evidence of a secret branch that changes the total and no basis for claiming that one platform lacks a chapter.
This is a counting convention, not necessarily a factual conflict. Similar disagreements occur when a prologue, interlude, or epilogue has a chapter-select entry but little conventional gameplay. A guide should state its rule before giving totals. Here, “14 entries” and “13 main chapters plus an epilogue” describe the same observed structure.
To be confirmed: The research did not capture an official developer page publishing the full chapter list. The count is cross-checked through guides, narrated completion material, and community evidence.
Structure and pacing
Space4Games described a linear progression and gave estimated section times. Its first 3 chapter estimates were about 35, 60, and 75 minutes. Chapter 8 was described as a roughly 10-minute narrative transition without collectibles. Those examples demonstrate uneven chapter length; they are not official speed targets.
The game alternates Sophia's medieval journey with resonant material connected to ancient Minoan times. Official story material supports the two-time-line premise, while chapter guides show how the adventure packages that material into a fixed sequence. There is no collected evidence for an open-world chapter order or a player-selected branch structure.
Because individual chapters vary, a midpoint based on chapter number is not a precise midpoint in hours. A short transition can sit between longer exploration, combat, and puzzle sections. Use the save or chapter interface for progress, but avoid converting it into an exact percentage unless the game displays one.

Chapter select and collectibles
Completion sources say chapter select is available after finishing the story. Mortismal reported that the chapter interface shows missing collectibles and that collectible progress persists outside the selected chapter. PowerPyx also recommends post-story cleanup for most objectives. This makes the list useful as a navigation spine even without publishing a complete walkthrough for every entry.
The collectibles guide resolves the useful category boundaries: 8 base-game Blades plus 1 Heritage Pack bonus Blade, 37 Relics, and 30 Charms with the 5 Echoes already included. Broader routes also count Resonance Points and may advertise 275 locations, but Patch 1.02 moved some pickups and current point routes disagree. Do not add or compare those numbers without defining the unit.
For trophies, the chapter structure also maps to story awards. The current research says the PlayStation list has 36 ordinary trophies plus a platinum, while Steam has 36 achievements. When another guide gives a location as “Chapter 13,” compare the chapter name before assuming it disagrees with this list. The list was cross-checked with GameRant's chapters and collectibles guide and Space4Games' progress guide. ItsIlusion's narrated platinum video independently stated the 14-entry structure and epilogue. A Discord report supports Chapter 14's existence but is kept as community evidence.
No readable official full chapter list was found in the research pass, and only one qualifying narrated video directly stated the count. The page therefore explains the 13/14 convention instead of calling all dissent an error. Chapter names may contain light spoilers, and detailed event summaries are intentionally excluded from this guide.
